Teresa LeYung Ryan

Teresa LeYung Ryan (l) read from her just-released book, Love Made of Heart, at the Barnes and Noble in Campbell.
Teresa LeYung Ryan joined CWC after receiving an award at the 1997 Jack London Writers Conference. Immediately she was recruited to take a seat on the board. She has made many friends over the years, and is extremely thankful for their kindness and generosity.

She is happily published now. Encouraging writers to pursue their dreams brings her joy. She is a mentor to many CWC members. As author of the mother-daughter novel LOVE MADE OF HEART, Teresa LeYung Ryan says: “The biggest reward has been receiving letters from kind hearts telling me that I have written their story.”

Teresa is proof that a writer can deliver a compelling read when she knows the “themes” not only in her book, but also in her own life. She serves the community by advocating compassion for mental illness and helping survivors-of-violence find their voices through writing.
